The Best Ever ~ Tandoori Chicken 🌶
This popular lip smacking chicken preparation is an all time favorite 😍 It juicy, spicy and full of flavors!!
I bet you can’t ever get over this 😋
• Take chicken leg plus thigh (I took 250gms) and make small cuts in the chicken
• 1st Marination:
Marinade the chicken in 2tsp lemon juice, salt and 2tsp red chili powder (you can increase or decrease the quantity as per your taste). Let it marinade for at least 20mins(if you have time)
In a bowl take 2tsp of ginger garlic paste, 2tsp of greek yogurt, 1/4tsp turmeric, 2tbsp tandoori chicken masala(I used store bought from everestspices ), 1/2tsp black pepper powder, 1tsp mustard oil(or oil of your choice). Mix them all to a paste like consistency. Nicely massage the marinade on the chicken.
If you have time let the chicken sit in the marinade for at least 30-40mins. You can also leave it overnight in the fridge. This ensures that the flavors are nicely infused.😍
But when running short on time skip this.🤷♀️
• In a preheated oven, grill the chicken for 25-30mins at 200C and just when you feel that it is almost done increase the temperature to 250C for 5mins. You get this beautiful charred chicken ♥️
Squeeze some lemon juice and have it with your favorite salad and dip!!
