Baked Veg Manchurian 😍

Traditionally Manchurian is an Indian Chinese dish where the veggies/meat balls are fried and then sautéed in a sauce!!

In this recipe we have baked the veggie balls and made the recipe as healthy as possible keeping all the deliciousness intact 😉♥️

Recipe 🍴

~ Making the balls
• Chop all the vegetables finely. I took cabbage, capsicum, carrots and green chili. You can also add in some cauliflower, baby corn, beans if you like .(I took total 3-cups of chopped veggies)
• Add salt, pepper, 1tbsp of garlic powder, 2 tbsp of cornflour and 2tbsp of all purpose flour
• Mix it well and shape them into round balls
• Take a baking tray, line it with a parchment paper. Spray some oils and place the balls on it
• Bake these balls in a preheated oven at 200C for 20 mins or until the balls are perfectly cooked and turn slightly crispy

~Gravy
•In a wok add 2tsp of oil, add in chopped garlic (3tbsp), chopped ginger (1tsp), 1 small onion and green chili. Keep the high and sauté for a minute
• Add in 1.5tsp of soy sauce,2tbsp of tomato ketchup, 1tsp of chili sauce and mix well
• Add in 1 veggie/chicken bouillon (option)
• Add in a cup of water
• Take 2tsp of cornflour, mix in 4tbsp of water and add this slurry to the sauce mixture
• Allow the sauce to thicken and add 1/2 tsp of white vinegar and some freshly ground pepper & salt
• Now add in the Manchurian balls, mix it well
• Turn off the heat and spread some spring onions and sesame seeds
